Marble — the luxury choice
Natural marble, like the book-matched black marble in our Black Kitchen range, is unmatched for a one-of-a-kind look — no two slabs are the same. It's porous, so it needs sealing and a bit more care around acidic spills (lemon, wine). Best for kitchens where the worktop is a design centrepiece, not a daily chopping surface.
Silestone — the practical premium option
Silestone is an engineered quartz surface, used in our White & Blue kitchens — non-porous, scratch- and stain-resistant, and consistent in colour across the whole slab. It costs less than natural marble but still reads as premium. On the Costa del Sol, where kitchens get real daily use, it's the material we recommend most often.
Laminate — the budget-smart choice
Laminate worktops are the most affordable option and have improved a lot — modern laminates can convincingly mimic stone or wood finishes. They're not as durable as quartz long-term, but for a compact apartment refresh or a rental property, they're often the right call.
